My Review: One of Lana's lesser known early films. In this pre-Ziegfeld Girl, pre-blonde bombshell period, MGM was still trying to build her up while at the same time trying to figure out what to DO with her. Her performance is very raw here and it is always a treat to see her in her youth before she became "Lana Turner". John Shelton, as Bill, threatens to get a little hammy with his acting, but you feel his desperation. Won't someone please give the poor man a break??
